Description: The doctrine of God’s illumination of His word is defined as a love letter to the individual child of God. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, each Saint is able to read and understand the meaning of Scripture. Because of its work in the heart of each Saint, the bible is progressive and needs to be read and re-read, since God is at work, maturing each Believer; who you were last year when you read a part of the Bible is not who you are now as you read the same passage. Tommy also describes what illumination is not; it is not revelation. Many cults sprang up in America, born of man’s pride, wanting to know God’s revelation apart from the written word of God.
